Belarusian MAZ rolls out first electric bus

The Belarusian automobile engineering company MAZ has made its first electric bus. Now the vehicle is being tested. It is powered by accumulators with the cruising range up to 300km, which is on par with the latest models of internationally recognized manufacturers. The buses have conditioners; all the seats are equipped with USB ports to allow passengers to charge their gadgets. The first batch of MAZ electric city buses will be released in a year. Another Belarusian scientists’ innovative product is a small municipal vehicle. Brushes and a vacuum cleaner can reach the most inaccessible places in the yards. The first vehicle was bought by Belarus’ Soligorsk.
