Belarusian-Indian pharmaceutical enterprise opens in Skidel

Belarusian-Indian pharmaceutical company opened in Skidel. Latest drugs for the treatment of AIDS and tuberculosis will be produced there. The investment project is estimated at $ 3.5 million. The enterprise operates on the basis of the existing Belmedpreparaty plant in Grodno. The company created 70 new jobs. After reaching the estimated capacity, it is planned to produce up to 6 million pills and more than 3 million capsules per year. Up to 50% of products will be sold on the domestic market, the rest will be exported.
