Belarusian farmers harvested more than 3.9 million tons of grain

The harvesting campaign is halfway through. A total of nearly 4 million tons of grain have been cropped. Just a fifth part of the acreage remains to be harvested in Brest region. The Region is the leader in the total volume of cropped grain. Minsk region has already overcome one million ton's mark. Grodno region occupies the third place, displacing Gomel. Grodno has harvested 695,000 tons of grain. The average yield is almost 36 tons of grain per hectare. In the northernmost region of Belarus — Vitebsk — harvesting is also progressing fast.
