The first Belarusian electric car was presented yesterday at the Academy of Sciences. The car was tested by Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko and Speaker of the Council of the Republic Mikhail Myasnikovich. It took less than a year to create an electric vehicle. Its capacity is 80 horsepower. The car charge takes from 4 to 6 hours. This is enough for a trip of 150 kilometers. The electric car accelerates to a hundred kilometers per hour. This car is a proof sample. After the tests are completed, the creation of a full-fledged prototype will begin. At the testing ground, an electric bicycle was also presented. It can drive without human assistance as soon as it gains the necessary speed.
