Belarusian agro-industrial complex expands export scope

Deliveries of agricultural products and foods brought $5.5 billion. The CIS countries account for the bulk of exports with an 85% share. The sales of rapeseed oil, poultry meat, vegetables and fruits, and dairy products increased. This year, agribusiness companies plan to earn $200 million additionally. Flax fiber production will increase, as this crop will be given special attention. 45 new dairy farms are to be built.
