Belarusian agrarians’ record figures

Completion of fall field works, revision of the structure of crops and agrarian profile of Vitebsk Region. These were the main topics of the meeting held by the President of Belarus in the Palace of Independence. Taking into account climatic conditions and peculiarities of land fertility, it is inappropriate to grow large amounts of grain in Vitebsk Region. A small part of crop is still in the fields. It is necessary to harvest it quickly, the weather demands it. Experts rated this year’s harvest as one of the best over the past 20 years. More than 100 quintals per hectare were harvested in the fields of Mogilev, Grodno and Minsk regions. In Belarus, more than 7 million 600 thousand tons of grain was harvested. The Head of State hurried the agrarians to prepare the land for spring works. The future harvest depends on this.
