The loan agreement for $ 1.4 billion was concluded today by Belarusbank and the State Development Bank of China. The money is intended for the construction of a mining and processing complex Slavkaly on the raw material base of the Nezhin site of Starobin potassium salt deposit. The production capacity will amount to 2 million tons of chloride per year. In the process of construction of the complex, gasification will be carried out in twenty-one villages of Luban district, a railway station and 37 kilometers of railway will be constructed, Luban water intake and treatment plant will be reconstructed. This is the largest project to be carried out in cooperation with the Bank of China.
