In two years, the trade between Belarus and Karelia could exceed $100 million. The prospects of bilateral trade were discussed at the meeting by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Rusy and head of the Republic of Karelia Arthur Parfenchikov. Of particular interest is the cooperation in the industrial sector and the agricultural complex. The participants of the meeting discussed the prospects of supplying forage harvesting equipment, passenger transport, cargo, quarry and special equipment to Karelia. In addition, Belarusian constructors could implement turn-key projects in Karelia to build residential neighborhoods or a whole settlement. Following the meeting in the government, a number of documents were signed.
