Belarus urges EAEU to unite efforts for digital transformation

Belarus invites its partners in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to unite efforts in matters of digital transformation, Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Rumas said as he addressed the international forum on Digital Agenda in the Era of Globalization that united leading world IT companies. The forum aims at working out joint measures that will accelerate the development of digital economies in the Eurasian space and thereby increase the competitiveness of its member states. Among the priorities is the finalization and approval of a single legislative policy. The creation of a single digital project management body has been proposed at the forum as well.
