Belarus unemployment rate goes down

The Ministry of Labor announced the latest employment market data. As of August 1, the unemployment rate was 0.3%. This is lower than in the same period last year. As a rule, it is easier to find work for residents of the capital city. Every tenth working Belarusian is employed in professions that do not require high qualifications, such as sales personnel, security guards, and drivers. However, experts warn that soon demand for such services will dwindle. Over the recent 6 months, about 115,000 Belarusians applied for assistance in finding employment. The employment service has helped 85,000 people find full-time jobs.
