Belarus to refine 16.5 million tons of oil in 2020

Belarus plans to process at least 16.5 million tons of black gold this year. And this is a million tons more than in 2019. Modernization is now being completed at the country's refinery. As a result of renewal of production at Novopolotsk "Naftan", the depth of oil refining will be increased to more than 90 percent. As a result, the output of light gasolines will increase, diesel fuel - more than 60 percent. Construction of a girt between the two plants will begin in October. This will make it possible to receive oil not only from Russia, but also from Ukraine and Poland. By the way, another batch of American oil has entered the Naftan reservoirs. And this is the 12th tanker delivery to Belarus from alternative sources.
