Belarus to produce electric vehicles

Belarus-China car maker BELGEE is about to launch an assembly line to produce electric vehicles. The plant is expected to make more than a thousand electrically propelled vehicles next year. The car will be equipped with a modern electric motor with a power reserve of 500 kilometers. And its cost will not exceed BYN 70 thousand. Now the plant is getting ready to launch a new model: the charger is being adapted from the Chinese standard to the European one, and the car control menu is being Russified. This year the company plans to double its presence in the Russian market. Negotiations on the supply of BELGEE cars to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are at the final stage.
