Belarus’ State Control Committee and Accounts Chamber of Russia review Union State budget bill for 2019

Financial watchdogs of Belarus and Russia have prepared an assessment of the Union State budget bill for 2019. In 2019 the budget is projected to receive RUB 7.245 billion and to spend over RUB 6 billion. The budget surplus is projected at about RUB 1 billion. Most of expenditures will be spent on 11 Union State programs. Money will be also earmarked for major repairs and restoration of the structures of the Brest Fortress in the Brest Hero Fortress memorial complex as well as for the development of educational and scientific activities of the Belarusian-Russian University.
