Minsk is ready at any
moment to do its utmost for Chisinau. This was stated by President Alexander
Lukashenko the day before at a meeting with the head of Moldova Igor Dodon in
Vitebsk. During the visit to Belarus, the high guest visited a number of
enterprises and cultural sites. Today, Moldova has the fourth largest commodity
turnover with Belarus among the CIS countries. Minsk is one of the ten most
important trade and economic partners of Chisinau. In Moldova, MTZ tractors and
Belarusian trolleybuses are assembled and sold. There are plans to increase
mutual trade to half a billion dollars.
