Belarus ready for Customs Code of EAEU

Belarus is ready for the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union to come into force since January, 1. The session of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly ratified the treaty on the EAEU Customs code. On the national level, the document is being prepared by a joint group of the State Customs Committee representatives of state bodies and business. About 70 direct norms will be introduced into the draft edict. All details have been coordinated with interested organizations. Some novelties in the Customs Code will be useful for Belarusian entrepreneurs, as they simplify formalities and reduce time in customs cargo processing. The document will be soon submitted for approval to the Head of state.
