Belarus purchases 80 thousand tons of Norwegian oil

Belarus purchased 80 thousand tons of Norwegian oil for refining at the Naftan plant. Oil will be delivered through the port of Klaipeda. And the first deliveries are scheduled for the near future. The oil will be brought into the country by rail. As earlier reported, on January 1, Russia halted oil supplies to Belarus due to price disagreements. The tariff negotiations are temporarily suspended. At the same time, the Belarusian government reported that all possible options for alternative supplies are being looked into.
