Belarus President’s working visit to China over

The working visit of the President of Belarus to China is over. Alexander Lukashenko took part in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Also, within the framework of the summit a number of bilateral meetings took place, including with Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping. As a result of the talks, a document on a visa-free regime between the two countries was signed. In general, the package of agreements reached in Qingdao by the Belarusian side is estimated at 1.5 billion dollars.At the same time, the country's global proposals for expanding the areas of cooperation in Greater Eurasia were also highly appreciated. The creation of an IT-ecosystem of the organization, which will combine the possibilities of electronic media, social networks and electronic commerce were among the Belarusian initiatives at the forum. Also, Alexander Lukashenko proposed using the opportunities of Belarus to strengthen the food security of the Eurasian region.
