Belarus President paying official visit to Ukraine

President of Belarus pays an official visit to Ukraine. The program includes negotiations with Petro Poroshenko. The leaders of the two countries are to focus on politics, economy and humanitarian cooperation. For Ukraine, Belarus is the fourth most important trading partner, and Kiev for Minsk is the second largest trade destination. The turnover last year amounted to almost $4 billion. However, this clearly does not correspond to the potential. The Belarusian-Ukrainian business forum is to improve the situation. The signing of contracts worth $40 million is expected. Today 13 joint ventures are in operation. The parties are interested in cooperation in the mechanical engineering, agro-industrial complex, petrochemistry, energy and construction.
