Belarus President met with Chairman of the Board of the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko met with Chairman of the Board of the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Rumas to discuss a wide range of economic issues. The president was informed about the operation of the Development Bank in 2016 and Q1 2017, the state of affairs in affiliated companies. Sergei Rumas told the president that the preparation of the five-year wood processing development strategy has been completed. The participants of the meeting also discussed the revival of the Polesye area. Alexander Lukashenko asked what else, according to local residents, can be done to develop this region. The head of state was also interested in the issue of family capital, the progress in the School Bus project, the situation with the development of rural estates.
