The official visit of the President of Belarus to Turkmenistan continues. The main event of the day is the official opening of the Garlyk Mining and Processing Plant in the presence of the heads of state. Recently, Belarusian specialists completed its construction. Turnkey construction of the plant has become the largest bilateral project of Belarus and Turkmenistan. The day before, Alexander Lukashenko and Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedow confirmed their readiness to develop cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres. 11 documents have been signed. The key document is the joint communiqué of the leaders. The presidents of Belarus and Turkmenistan also took part in the opening ceremony of the new building of the Belarusian embassy in Ashgabat.
