The Financial Ombudsman Service that provides external dispute resolution for consumers may appear in Belarus. Thus, the protection of rights in the financial services field will become simpler. It’s one of the joint projects of the National Bank of Belarus and the European Union aimed at perfecting the work of payment systems. The corresponding law may be accepted as soon as next year.
