Belarus launches first main oil product pipeline

The first oil pipeline main Navapolatsk-Fanipal was launched in Belarus. It is functioning at full capacity. Diesel fuel and gasoline are supplied by pipelines from Naftan oil refinery to petroleum storage depots. The first launch complex, opened in early 2017, connected Navapolatsk-based «Naftan» with the petroleum tank farm in the Vitebsk region. The second section will be transporting petroleum products to the central part of the country, a tank farm in Fanipal. Up to 1 million tons of motor fuel per year is to be supplied to the capital region. The total value of the investment project is over Br70 million.
