A Belarus-Kazakhstan business forum kicked off in Nur-Sultan. Taking part in the forum are over 40 Belarusian companies. Kazakhstan’s business community will be represented by over 150 companies. Representatives of the Belarusian delegation have already visited the free economic zone, got acquainted with the activities of the Nur-Sultan technopark. Belarus and Kazakhstan are set to boost cooperation to increase the bilateral trade up to $1 billion. The business forum is expected to lay a foundation for long-term cooperation both in the traditional industries (mechanical engineering, supplies of foodstuffs) and in some new sectors, like pharmaceutics and IT.
