Belarus
is in favor of deepening ties with Kazakhstan both on a bilateral basis and in
the integration format. This was stated the day before at the meeting of the
Head of the Presidential Administration Natalia Kochanova with the Secretary of
State of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova. The sides noted that the visit of
the Belarusian leader to Astana and his participation in the Shanghai
Cooperation Organization summit, as well as the opening of the EXPO-2017
exhibition, gave a special impetus to the relations. Belarus and Kazakhstan
celebrate 25 years of establishment of diplomatic relations this year. For over
a quarter of a century the partnership has become stronger and today it is
measured by dozens of projects in the most diverse branches of the economy -
from mechanical engineering to science and culture.
