Belarus and Turkey are going to increase the volume of mutual trade up to 1 billion dollars next year, as discussed at a Belarusian investment forum in Istanbul, featuring business representatives and government officials. In his speech, Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov outlined the interests of bilateral cooperation, among which are Turkish investments in the construction sphere. In turn, Belarus can offer a wide range of products from potash fertilisers and haul trucks to high-tech. Besides, short-term plans include establishing tractor and automotive machinery assembly plants in Turkey.
