Minsk is hosting the third meeting of the working group for cooperation between Belarus and the Tambov region, its main topic being ways to increase mutual trade turnover, which currently exceeds 5 million dollars. Interregional cooperation with the Russian region was discussed yesterday in Mogilev. Among the new promising cooperation areas are the pharmaceutical industry, the production and advanced processing of grain, sunflower, as well as the exchange of achievements in food production. The Russian guests are interested in Belarus" achievements in breeding valuable fish species and constructing fish farms.
