President of Belarus and Deputy Prime Minister of Slovenia discussed the possibility of creating several joint projects.<br> <br>Belarusis grateful for Slovenian support during the discussion of the problems with the European Union. This was stated by President Alexander Lukashenko at the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, Karl Erjavec. The Slovenian side appreciates the positive role ofBelarusin the region and supports early simplification of visa regime between Belarus and the EU. Alexander Lukashenko notes that our country is ready to further cooperate with Sloveniaon mutually beneficial terms. The trade turnover between Belarus and Sloveniais about a hundred millions of dollars. The two countries enhance cooperation in pharmaceuticals, construction, modernization of railways and energy. During the talks the sides discussed the possibility of creating large-scale joint projects and signed new contracts for the development of the Belarusian energy sector with the involvement of Slovenian experts and investments.
