Belarus and Russia to intensify cooperation in field of subsurface investigation

A meeting of the boards of the Ministries of Environment of the two countries was held in Moscow. One of the main issues discussed was exploration of oil, gas, peat and building stone. A joint map of the two countries has already been created.The sides discussed the development of ecotourism. A new route will be developed along the border reserves and national parks of Belarus and Russia.
