Belarus stands for broadening and strengthening relations with Luxembourg, as announced at a meeting between Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei and his Luxembourg counterpart Jean Asselborn, who is paying his first visit to Belarus since the elections to the House of Representatives. The meeting at the Foreign Ministry discussed cooperation between the two countries, as well as between Belarus and the EU. The Luxembourg Foreign Minister pointed out that Belarus and the EU were moving in the right direction and invited Vladimir Makei to pay a return visit to Luxembourg.
