Belarus and Kyrgyzstan are to resume assembling tractors in Bishkek. A solemn ceremony featured Belarus" Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov and Acting Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov. The design capacity of the assembly plant stands at up to 5,000 tractors a year. Up to 1,000 tractors are planned to be assembled in the next two years to be then delivered to Kyrgyzstan"s domestic market and abroad. A possibility of exporting Belarus tractors to China and Turkmenistan is currently being considered.Minsk Tractor Works is among the world"s top ten tractor manufacturers. The company is ready to offer a wide range of modern machinery to Kyrgyzstan.
