Belarus hosts AFI forum

Belarus hosts the meeting of the Eastern Europe & Central Asia initiative of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion. The meeting focuses on promotion of digital financial services and coverage of risks associated with new technology adoption. Belarus is the Eastern Europe leader in introducing digital financial services, AFI leadership said. It also commended Belarus’ efforts in helping the AFI with giving access to banking services to the people who do not have them right now. Their number stands at 1.7 billion across the globe.
