Belarus harvested over 5 million tons of grain

The harvest season 2018 in Belarus is coming to an end, only a couple of days and 160.000 tons of grain left, said Agriculture and Food Minister Leonid Zayats. He noted that the recent drought will affect neither retail shelves nor population’s income. The country harvested more than 5.12 million tonnes of grain already, with the average yield of 26.4 centners per hectare. Minsk Region is the leader and the only millionaire this year.
