Belarus' GDP growth for this year expexted at 1.8%

Belarus' GDP growth for this year is expected at 1.8%. The indicator is ambitious, but achievable. This was stated by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko. Emphasis will be made on cost-effectiveness. The Government's program of activities for the five-year period includes  the growth of people's incomes, maintaining financial stability, developing entrepreneurship and competition, and increasing the return on state assets. The execution of the program will be constantly monitored. Until March 1, the Ministry of Economy will collect reports from the entire vertical. And by April 1, the consolidated data will be presented to the Government.
