Belarus enters final stage of negotiations on WTO accession

Belarus is at the final stage of negotiations on joining the World Trade Organization, including with regard to agricultural sector, experts say. Under these conditions, businesses should focus on ensuring efficiency and offering competitive products. The agricultural industry is one of the priority sectors of the Belarusian economy. Joining the WTO will open up new markets and attract investors to the industry, provide a level playing field for competition at the global level. The prospects for the country's accession to the World Trade Organization were discussed at a meeting in Minsk.
