Riga is interested in becoming part of the Belarusian-Chinese Industrial Park. This was stated by the deputy speaker of the Latvian Sejm at a meeting of parliamentarians of the two countries. Today, Belarus and Latvia are implementing more than 50 agreements. The day before the parties agreed to develop freight traffic by the high-speed Minsk-Riga trains. The first rail transport will be sent before the end of the year. These will be cargo containers, which are part of the project "Economic belt of the Silk Road" of the route China-EU in the direction of Latvia. The possibility of visa-free excursion trips around Belarus and Latvia for the guests of the World Hockey Championship 2021, which will be hosted by Minsk and Riga, was also discussed.
