Belarus and Korea sign certification agreement

The agreement, which will help increase the trade turnover between Belarus and Korea, was signed in Minsk by institutes for the certification of household and industrial products. This will simplify the quality and safety compliance testing procedures, and hence also deliveries to the end consumer.

Today Belarus is perceived as the hub of technical regulation in the Post-Soviet space. This is also due to the fact that in July this year, national energy efficiency requirements for household and office equipment entered into force in the country.
