A new subsistence level is introduced in Belarus today. It will amount to an average of 197 rubles 81 kopecks per capita.

With the growth of the subsistence minimum, the lump-sum payment at the birth of the first child has also grown up to 1,978 rubles. Also today, benefits for pensioners over 75 years of age, and allowances for people caring for the disabled and the elderly go up. Retirement pensions also increase by an average of 5 percent.
