President Alexander Lukashenko visited the ground control complex in Stankovo. It communicates with the satellite Belintersat-1. The complex is an important part of the national system of satellite communication and broadcasting. The Head of State reminds that despite skeptic views the principal decision has been taken to develop space technology. The first Belarusian artificial satellite sensing is running successfully. With its launch, our country became one of the space powers.The President says that the project should be profitable. Alexander Lukashenko got acquainted in detail with the prospects of the use of the technology and met with the staff of the center.
