Belarus is ready for comprehensive cooperation with Russia"s Kurgan region, as stated by President Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with Kurgan region Governor Alexei Kokorin. As of last year, the volume of mutual trade exceeded 20 million dollars. Alexander Lukashenko pointed out that there are prospects for increasing that figure. In particular, the Belarusian industry is ready to provide the region"s farmers with a wide range of agricultural machinery.The Kurgan region delegation"s visit is expected to give an additional impetus to the development of bilateral cooperation.
