The 8th Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia starts today. The work is arranged in five sections. The agenda features scientific and technical cooperation in the era of digitalization in different areas, including medicine, education, lawmaking, international relations. The emphasis is put on economy, as well as humanitarian and cultural cooperation. This year the Forum will be hosted by Moscow and the Moscow Region, but due to the pandemic the main part will be held via a video conference. A large number of agreements and contracts worth about $800 million will be signed on the sidelines of the forum.
