Over 800 state standards have been adopted in Belarus since the beginning of the year. And almost half of them are based on international and European requirements. Work is underway on hundreds of new standards in various branches of the economy. They are aimed at meeting the requirements of the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union, state, scientific, technical, and sectoral programs. According to experts, it will contribute to improving the technical level and quality of the Belarusian products, increasing export potential, eliminating technical barriers in trade and protecting consumer interests.
