40% of the grain crops area has been harvested by Belarusian farmers. Brest and Gomel regions are now over half of the harvesting area. In total, almost 3.4 million tons of crops have been harvested across the country. The Brest region is the leader in terms of pace and threshing. Agrarians in this region are approaching a million tons mark. Grodno and Minsk regions are also ahead in terms of the amount of the harvested crops, 751 and a half and 743 and 3 tenths of a thousand tons, respectively. Work is underway in the Mogilev and Vitebsk regions. The average yield in the country is 38.4 centners per hectare.
