30 regional waste processing plants to be built in Belarus

30 regional plants for collecting, sorting and processing waste will be built in Belarus. They will replace all the local mini-landfills. This will require about one and a half billion Belarusian rubles and will take 10 years. The work is already underway. And the introduction of a deposit refund system will allow collecting more than 80% of recyclable materials in Belarus. It is planned to implement this project within two years.
