1ST Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine kicks off in Gomel

The 1^st Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine opens in Gomel. 14 regions of Ukrainian and all Belarusian regions will demonstrate their economic potential. The forum will feature presentations and a meeting of the Belarusian-Ukrainian Business Cooperation Advisory Council with the participation of more than 250 representatives of business. Tomorrow President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will take part in the plenary session. It is expected that the event will also be visited by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. In January-August 2018 Belarus-Ukraine trade totaled over $3.5 billion. The Belarusian exports include petroleum products, mineral fertilizers, trucks and tractors. During the forum new agreements and contracts are to be signed.
