November, 3 – opening of «Listapad» movie festival

Two days remain till the start of the 24-th Minsk International movie festival «Listapad» (November). As the tradition has it, the movie theater «Moscow» in the Belarus' capital Minsk will be the venue for the grand opening and closing of the festival. It is known, that the red carpet will be tread by National artist of Russia Vladimir Menshov and Soviet actress Alexandra Yakovleva. While preparing the program, the organizers watched over 500 movies. Among the reels, which will be shown to the Belarusian audience, will be 13 ones from the “Oscar” long list. In total, the Listapad will feature 164 movies from 55 countries. Albania is making its debut at the Minsk movie festival this year.
