Listapad Film Festival to be held on November 20-26

There are no longer any restrictions in the geography of the Listapad Film Festival now. According to the general producer of the forum, director of Belarusfilm National Film Studio Vladimir Karachevski, the new directorate is negotiating participation with distributors, directors and producers from all over the world. As a novelty, only films of "humanistic" nature will be featured. This year, competitive films form Listapad's program will also be shown outside the capital city. There is a discussion on possible screening of “Kupala”, a film that's become a national project, within the framework of the forum. In addition to the premieres, viewers will see a retrospective of famous director Viktor Turov's work. The deadline for submitting applications for participation is set on October 1. The website of the festival will officially go online in September. Then the festival motto will be announced. The updated logo of the 27^th Festival will also be presented.
