An exhibition from Tatarstan was presented at the House of Friendship in Minsk

The international art project "Rivers of Friendship" was presented in Minsk. Artists from the Kazan branch of the Professional Union of Artists of the CIS countries brought over 20 paintings to the Belarusian capital. A special highlight was the work painted In plein air specifically for the 140th anniversary of the Tatarstan classic Gabdulla Tukay. The artists translated his poetic images into visual metaphors on canvas. The exhibition was complemented by heartfelt works by young talented artists from Kazan. The programme for the Tatarstan delegation also included a visit to the Brest Hero Fortress memorial complex.
