A unique tour at Lida Castle invites visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages

In Lida, guests are offered the opportunity to greet the dawn in a castle and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. This is made possible by the new interactive tour “With the First Roosters,” launched by the staff of the Lida Historical and Art Museum. Over the course of an hour and a half, visitors take a walk around Prince Gediminas’s castle and its towers, learn about the history of the fortress and the figures whose names are associated with it, and also take part in the interactive performance “The Wedding of Prince Jogaila and Sophia Golshanskaya” and in master classes in medieval games and dances. The “With the First Roosters” tour is especially popular among foreign tourists.
