The frescoes on the walls told the story of the building, which is almost 130 years old. The house for ball and wedding parties in the Rakovskaya Street was erected in 1895. Celebrations, dance balls, weddings were played here. In the 20-ies of the last century, the dance hall of the building was reconstructed into the country's first cinema "Record". Then, the municipal administration was located there. And after 100 years, during the restoration, wall frescoes were found, which in detail told the story of the building in Rakovskaya, 17. Now the unique building with pilasters, arched windows and vases on the facade harbors the Museum of the History of the City of Minsk.
