Nationwide reforestation campaign continues in Belarus

Employees of the Security Services Department and members of the "Filin" military-patriotic club planted 44 trees on the territory of the "Dalva" memorial complex in memory of the victims. The amount of trees symbolizes the number of inhabitants of this village, which was burned a few days before the liberation of Belarus. 29 children, 13 women and 2 men perished in the fire. The oldest of the victims was 80 years old and the youngest was about two. 3 crosses of different heights were placed at the site of the tragedy, symbolizing 3 generations of the residents. The participants of the event laid flowers and honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence, visited the house museum, which reflects the history of the village.
